We do the whole thing, not just the letter

Can Someone Appeal My
Parking Ticket for Me?

Yes. That is the entire service. Send us the notice and we read it, work out the strongest ground, write the appeal, submit it, and deal with whatever comes back - without you having to learn any of it.

What 'done for you' actually means

Most of what you will find online is a letter. A template to fill in, or a generator that produces some text. Either way you are still the one who has to send it, work out where to send it, read the rejection, and decide what to do about it.

We are the other thing. You give us the paperwork and we take the problem off you. There is no draft for you to approve, no portal for you to log into, and no next step for you to remember. The only thing you have to do after submitting is read the email telling you what happened.

Every case is handled by a real person - your notice is read by someone, the appeal is written by someone, and the emails you get back are written by the people doing the work. Why that matters.

Who does what

The whole point is how short the left-hand column is.

Your side
About two minutes
  • Photograph the notice and any letters
  • Give us the registration and keeper details
  • Pay the flat fee
  • Read our emails
Our side
Everything else
  • Read the notice against the statute
  • Identify the strongest ground available
  • Draft the appeal, keeper-only, driver never named
  • Submit it to the operator by the right route
  • Handle the reply and any follow-up correspondence
  • Take it to the independent stage where it has merit
  • Tell you the outcome

How it works

1
Send us the paperwork

Photos of the parking charge notice and any Notice to Keeper or reminders. Phone photos are fine - nothing needs scanning.

2
We build the case

We check the dates against the statutory deadline, read the notice against the prescribed wording, and pick the ground that actually stands up.

3
We submit and handle it

The appeal goes in under your keeper details without naming the driver, and we deal with the response rather than forwarding it to you.

4
You get the outcome

An email at each material stage, and a plain statement of where it ended up - including what the next option is if there is one.

Where our limits are

Worth knowing before you pay rather than after. We do not handle:

  • Council penalty charge notices. Those are statutory penalties with their own formal process, and nothing on this site applies to them. How to tell which one you have.
  • Court proceedings. If you have been served with a county court claim, that needs proper legal advice, not an appeal service.
  • Debt collection agencies and solicitors' letters. We appeal charges; we do not negotiate debts.
  • Phone support. We work by email, which is how the fee stays where it is.

It is also one fee per notice. If you were charged twice on the same trip - which happens constantly at airports - each notice is a separate case and needs its own submission.

The full position is in our terms.

Done-for-you appeals FAQ

Can someone else appeal a parking ticket on my behalf?

Yes. There is nothing in the process that requires the registered keeper to write the appeal personally. Operators accept appeals submitted by a representative, and the independent appeal services do too. You need to be the registered keeper or have their authority, which you confirm when you submit to us.

What do you actually need from me?

Photographs or scans of the parking charge notice and any Notice to Keeper or reminder letters, plus the vehicle registration and the registered keeper's name and address. Phone photos are fine. It takes about two minutes and we do not need you to explain the law - that is our side of it.

Do I have to say who was driving?

No, and we never volunteer it. Naming the driver hands the operator the one thing they usually cannot establish on their own, so every appeal we submit is keeper-only. If you have already named the driver elsewhere, tell us, because it changes what arguments remain open.

What happens after you submit it?

We handle the correspondence rather than passing it back to you. If the operator rejects the appeal and an independent stage is available that we think has merit, we take it there as part of the same fee. You get an email at each stage, including the outcome.

How much does it cost and is it refundable?

£10 per notice, paid up front. For operators and situations on our covered list, we refund the fee if the appeal is unsuccessful. For everything else the work is identical but the fee is non-refundable, and the intake form tells you which route yours is on before you pay rather than afterwards.

Is this a solicitor's service?

No. AppealPilot is an administrative service, not a law firm, and nothing we submit is legal advice. Private parking appeals are not court proceedings - they are correspondence with a company and then, if needed, an independent assessor - so a solicitor is not normally required. If your matter has reached court, you should get proper legal advice.

AppealPilot is not a law firm and this page is not legal advice. We are a paid administrative service that prepares and submits private parking appeals in the UK. If you are being sued, seek independent legal advice.
